Ulvi, the matron of the house, takes care of everything from housekeeping to updating the menu and does everything around here with love and care. She likes to treat her customers with freshly baked barley bread and smoked meats.

The barley breads are awarded with the Võrumaa food label “Uma mekk”. And of course you can buy your bread and meat to go.

Hämsa Tavern offers homely food such as pan-fried groats with mushrooms, smoked Hämsa ribs with potatoes, sweet and savoury barley bread and many other very interesting and delicious items.
