The produce of the members of Sangaste Rye Village, for instance, Kurevere garlic products and Sangaste honey, is used in a number of dishes. The mission of the Rye Restaurant is to show its visitors the versatility of rye, Estonian national grain. To do that, we bring you both traditional and entirely new variations of rye foods. Only Estonian Sangaste rye milled on the mill of Loona Farm in Võru County is used for all the dishes.
The Rye Restaurant is a favorite with locals and visitors from remote places alike. It welcomes groups to enjoy so-called “rye break” buffet or group menus. The Rye Restaurant can accommodate 50 guests.
