Tamme-Kopra talu
Gorgeous party cakes, delicious pastries and the best ever cinnamon and coriander ‘pryanik’ honey cakes to take home a souvenir from the Peipus region… eat and enjoy!
As the owner of the Tamme-Kopra farm, I loved experimenting with food since I was little. I learned to cook watching my mother do it. It took me some time to get into making cakes though, and then what had started as a hobby and passion soon became work.
I have been perfecting my skills, attending workshops and courses both in Estonia and abroad, under the guidance of internationally acclaimed pastry chefs. Glad to share my knowledge and skills of cake-making with others, I, too, organise workshops on how to make a party cake. I can also teach you to make and decorate a gingerbread house. There is a whole range of workshops available: gingerbread decoration, making chocolates and cake pops, edible sugar flowers or bread. I can teach you anything I have learned and mastered, individually or in a group (the maximum size of a group is 6–8 people).
I can make sweet or savoury party cakes for wedding, company or style celebrations as well as birthdays and jubilees, and there are also vegan options. In addition to cakes, my range of baked goods includes kringle-shaped pastries, bread, rolls, cookies and tarts as well as gingerbread cookies, plain or beautifully decorated with lacy icing.
Tamme-Kopra Farm is a part of the Peipsi Toit network [Peipus Food], which unites 30 producers who appreciate the uniqueness of food traditions of the Peipus region and combine the particular features of the area, its resources and local ingredients into a harmonious whole.
My line of cinnamon and coriander ‘pryanik’ honey cakes won the 2017 Peipus region souvenir contest.
In my products, I use Estonian ingredients, berries gathered nearby and what grows in my own garden.
